]]> http://jodyannm.wordpress.com/2009/05/10/64/feed/ 0 jodyannm http://jodyannm.wordpress.com/2009/03/25/final-project-proposal/ http://jodyannm.wordpress.com/2009/03/25/final-project-proposal/#comments Wed, 25 Mar 2009 19:08:04 +0000 jodyannm http://jodyannm.wordpress.com/?p=4 ]]> For my final project I will be analyzing STD Testing clincs in New Jersey.  In this analysis I will show where the clinics are located, what type of place it is (clinic, hospital, Planned Parenthood, etc), their hours of operation, what types of testing are available, and any contact information.  Then I will look for any patterns in the types of testing sites and location and compare that with STD data for the state of NJ.  I will be looking for trends according to county.  This information can be useful because it will give viewers a look into the STD issues in NJ and their distribution accross the state.  This will allow for better allocation of resources and question what areas need to be targeted for better sexual health education and prevention. Information from this project can be used to analyze which areas of New Jersey need more resources for STD clinics and programs.
